This is my second page for my Website on the marvelous Mendes.

1. Life Of The Party. The first big single release for Mendes is “Life of the Party” from his Handwritten album. The song seems like an upbeat dance song but is actually deeper than that when listening to the lyrics. The song is about being yourself and doing what you believe in, no matter what anyone else thinks. The track hit number nine in Canada, number 24 in the U.S. and is a double-platinum certified song. Also, Mendes released a trilogy of videos and this was part 2 in the trilogy and features Mendes walking through a party singing.

2. Something Big. The second release from Handwritten was Something Big. It has been a monster hit on social networks, getting over 13 million views on Vevo and YouTube. The song is an anthem about pushing hard and fighting to finish a goal and win. The song was certified platinum and hit 11th on the Canadian music charts and 80th in the United States.

3. A Little Too Much Other than his official singles, Mendes also released promotional singles and provided music videos for a number of them. For “A Little Too Much,” the video was a black and white video of Mendes playing guitar and signing on a stage. The song is about a girl who feels overwhelmed and beaten down but the narrator tells her that he clouds will clear one day and things will be ok.

4. Never Be Alone The videos all statrted with a promotionL song “Never Be Alone.” The video has Mendes sitting in his house writing while a girl walks alone outdoors. The narrator of the song is singing that he has to leave but he wants to leave a piece of his heart with her so she will never be alone. In the video, she returns to the house and he is gone, leaving the note that he wrote.
